Moon Flow with Camie

Chandra Namaskar, Moon Salutation, is somewhat new compared to its balance partner, sun salutations. Moon Salutations are usually practiced at night to prepare the body for a good nights rest unlike sun salutations that are meant to fire up the body for the day.

We will establish alignment using props to help experience what the shapes we take could potentially feel.

This practice is for one that has been practicing yoga because it is not easy even though we move with less vigor. It is meant to be practiced slowly as if you were moving through water, low to the ground because the gravitational pull is high and we are made up of mostly fluid and some inversions to leave us feeling the yoga nectar of being turned upside down.
We work a lot in the hips, sacrum, belly opening and crown of the head.
For this evening practice, we encourage a sense of going inward. The lights will be dim and moody. You will be led with the art of envisioning a cool crisp moon while practicing Chandra Namaskar. Prepare to be in awe of your truth and the ability to feel in sync with the lunar phases.
