Celebrate 26 years of Mrs. Bobbie!

This Sunday morning, we’re inviting anyone who has been blessed by Bobbie Byrd to join us as we honor and thank her for 26 incredible years of volunteering in the Southern Hills Children’s Ministry.

For most of that time, Bobbie has faithfully taught our Kindergarten Sunday class—bringing the Bible to life with funny voices, unforgettable lessons (including eating crickets!), and a deep desire to help kids fall in love with Jesus. She has been a steady, joyful presence for generations of families in our church.

Now, since Bobbie retired from her job last year and looks forward to spending more time with her grandkids, we want to celebrate her well. We’ll bring her on stage this Sunday morning, and we would love to give her a bundle of thank you notes, stories, and even gift cards as a token of our love and gratitude.

Please write your note in this event or bring it to the church office—or hand it to me Sunday morning. Let’s send her into this new season knowing how loved she is and how much her years of service have meant to our church family.
