Big Country CASA’s Superhero 5K Fun Run is BACK! Children 12 and under run FREE!

Big Country CASA is a non-profit organization serving the most innocent and vulnerable of our community – children who
have experienced abuse or neglect and are now in the foster care system. Our volunteers serve as a consistent, caring
connection for the child during this traumatic time in their life. They advocate for the child’s best interest which includes
educational, physical and emotional needs as well as a safe, permanent placement and help to identify gaps in the child’s
care. We believe all children should be supported and feel safe and the goal of this event is to increase awareness, to recruit
more volunteers, and to raise funds in support of our mission. In the last fiscal year we served 354 children experiencing foster
care, and our hope is for EVERY child experiencing foster care in the Big Country to have an advocate by their side. Your
support helps make that hope a reality.
