Borth & Ynyslas Golf Club is hosting a qualifying round for Wales Mini Masters on Friday 15th August. The link to the Mini Masters web site

There are two overall categories -
* Competitions for beginners, or with handicaps over 28
* A CompetitIon for Young Golfers with a Handicap between 14 and 28.
Competitions for Beginners
There are 4 age group competitions for boys and girls who are just beginning the game with no handicap, or a handicap above 28. Follow the link to the web site for details of the age categories. Holes are generally between 40 – 200 yards in length and the course will be set up specifically with young beginner golfers in mind.
The best score from each qualifying round, in each category, will be invited to the Final at Southerndown Golf Club on Sunday 5 October.

A CompetitIon for Young Golfers with a Handicap between 14 and 28.
The Wales Mini Masters is open to all young golfers that are members of a golf club and have a World Handicap System handicap of between 14 - 28. This is a mixed event with no separate categories for boys and girls.
Players must have been below the age of 18 on 1st September 2024
The competition is 18 holes stableford format played from red tees.
Each entry is inclusive of a new Volvik Golf Ball and a Wales Mini Masters branded accessory. Go to the web site to register and enter. Entry £15.00 per player.

The player with the best score in this competition will be invited to the Final at Southerndown Golf Club on Sunday 5 October.
This year we are proud to be a qualifying venue for the Mini Masters by Wales Golf.
The mini masters is a great way to introduce juniors into the game or a competitive format for those who may want to exercise their skills amongst others.
We look forward to hosting this event on the 15th of August 2025.
