August is a key time for sowing many edibles which will provide harvests throughout the winter and into the following spring. On this day course Stephanie will explain how to achieve a flourishing plot that produces food year-round, using organic, wildlife friendly methods.

The day includes: sowing schedules and planning, planting timings, picking for longer harvests, crop protection (including how to make your own), protecting the soil, making the most from crops - including how to “perenialise” annuals, composting and green manures.
