Berrjul + Creac’hcadec - Soubigou

A night of modern and traditional Breton music from two incredible bands all the way from Brittany, as part of the 2025 Wales-Brittany Festival.

BERRJUL
Berrjul are a guitar and handpan duo, based between Treger and Goelo, Brittany. Energetic music to dance to, drawing on traditional tunes and compositions by the band. A new and original take on Brittany’s Fest-Noz tradition (dance evening) coming the whole way from Western Brittany to West Wales!

CREAC'HCADEC-SOUBIGOU
Tanguy and Simon’s childhood was spent immersed between Breton traditional music and dance on the Plougastell peninsula, Brittany. The two musicians have known each other for a very long time and have had the chance to play together in several groups.
In 2017, they began to play as a duo as part of a tour in Lousiana, USA. Since then, they have formed a repertoire of dance music ranging from traditional Breton tunes to their own compositions. The arrangements and improvisations that they make remind us how alive and current traditional music is.
