After the electric success of July’s debut session, we’re back — bigger, bolder, and even bassier. Welcome to Castle Carnival: a genre-bending celebration of underground sound system culture, set in the hauntingly beautiful walls of Gwrych Castle, Abergele.
This first instalment turns the courtyard into a full-blown sonic fairground, featuring an all-star lineup: Joe Mac, Bobbeh, Soprano, Xiim, Rafiki Dubs, and MC Freddy B. Expect everything from deep dub and dancehall to high-energy jungle, steppas, and beyond — all delivered by some of Manchester and the region’s finest selectors and MCs.
Powered by Nuusic, Rum Riddimz Run, and Summit Sound, Castle Carnival is the first of many events aimed at building a community of sound lovers and bringing new life to one of North Wales’ most iconic locations.
🏰 All proceeds support the Gwrych Castle Charitable Trust, helping to preserve and restore this stunning Grade I-listed monument.
