This year the annual summer pond swim will be held by TREC NC. We know that August in the Carolinas can be HOT, HOT, HOT! This fun and casual event is a great opportunity to enjoy the private trails of Cedar Hall Farm, play on some TREC obstacles, and take a dip with your equine partner to beat the heat. The pond is four acres, stream fed, and very clean. Access is a small beach that gradually tapers to a depth of about 13 feet at the very middle of the pond. You can ride or lead your horse into the pond to a depth you are comfortable with. Several experienced equine swimmers will be there to help any horse new to the water.

Proof of Negative Coggins required.
Helmets must be worn when mounted. This includes
during swim time. Saddle required for trail riding, but you may go bareback during swim times. Recommended for your own
comfort: chair, fly spray (equine and human) bagged lunch, and drinks (no food or drinks sold on site). Enter the drive way and follow the drive through the woods until you reached the open area of the farm. Parking is on the left-hand side of the driveway and registration is at the end of the driveway at the head of the parking area. Water for horses and bathrooms will be available in the barn across from the parking area.
