We are excited to share this fun and jam-packed event with you. Together with Friends of St Fitticks and The James Hutton Institute we will be hosting a Nature Open Day at St Fittick’s Park. The aim of this exciting event is for the community to join us for a number of different nature guided walks and activities.

📍 St Fittick’s Park Outdoor Classroom
Not only will this be a fun-filled day, it is also an important biological recording day. Also known as a BioBlitz! A BioBlitz is an important activity for bringing wildlife experts and the wider public together, within a set amount of time, to find and identify in the area as many species as possible.

11:00 – 12:00 or 13:00 – 14:00 – Leaf Printing with Nicola Chambury. Choose between Grassy Meadow or Woodland leaf. This event is aimed at children. Due to limited space book your place here.
13:30 – 14:30 – Guided Track & Signs Walk with Adam Robertson, SRUC. Due to limited spaces book your place here.
14:00 – 15:00 – Guided Heritage and Social Walk with Richard Caie, Friends of St Fittick’s Park
