RALLY for SDPB
Fallout & Red Rooster present a Fundraiser
This is our chance to come together as a community and show our love for SDPB.
South Dakota Public Broadcasting (SDPB) has been hit with devastating funding cuts, forcing layoffs, eliminating beloved programs, and putting the future of public broadcasting in South Dakota at risk. SDPB needs to raise $1 million by the end of October to keep programming alive.
- Representatives from SDPB will share firsthand about the cuts, the difficult decisions they’ve had to make, and what it will take to keep public broadcasting strong.
- Learn concrete ways we can all support SDPB — financially and through advocacy.
- Silent Art Auction- Area artists are donating original works to the cause; bidding will run from September 3 through October 3.
- Live music, art, food, and conversation will bring us together as we rally for the future of public broadcasting.
Whether you love In the Moment, Dakota Life, South Dakota Focus, PBS kids programming, NPR news, or the countless other resources SDPB provides, this is the time to show up and stand together.
- Admission is free. Donations accepted for Friends of SDPB
Let’s rally the troops and show that South Dakota cares about public broadcasting.
