History Weekend

Join us for a weekend of living history, with sword & archery displays and children's activities in the castle.

Northern Alliance re-enactors will be returning to the grounds of Castle Fraser with a 15th Century encampment on the 28th & 29th June. There will be displays throughout the weekend with the chance to get involved in some battle formations and archery!

We'll have the castle's sword collection on display in the Great Hall and a chance to paint your own wooden shield to take home. The shield painting costs £5 per person and is located inside the main castle.

Normal admission and car parking fees apply, National Trust members park and enter the castle for free! No need to pre-book.
