Community Information Event

Did you know that Ellon Castle Gardens belongs to the people of Ellon?
Through 10 years of community ownership, it has been transformed by a dedicated team of volunteers into a 4-star garden, and recently featured on TV! It's a beautiful, tranquil place, full of wildlife and steeped in history. The large lawns make it a great venue for events and group activities.

Whether you're a regular visitor, or have never been, we encourage you to come along to The Buchan Hotel on Saturday 28th June to see our plans, chat with the Trustees, and give us your suggestions.

We're especially keen to speak to community groups and classes who want to use the Gardens, and local businesses who'd like to work with us to raise the profile of Ellon as a visitor destination.

And we're always looking for more volunteers to help with the gardening and welcoming volunteers. Come and have a chat to find out more - no experience necessary!
