Join Aberdeenshire Wildlife Explorers to help with some bird ringing!
A chance to get up close and personal with the birds. Raymond of the Grampian Ringing Group has special permission to catch and ring birds and he’ll explain everything he and his team do. You will get a chance to help and will be shown what to do if you handle the birds.
This event is open to children aged 8-12 years old who want to learn more about nature!
Due to an increase in interest we will now need to take bookings for spaces. Current members will be given priority for spaces.
New members - please get in touch to be added to the waiting list, we will then contact you if any spaces become available.

Time: 6 - 8pm
Children will require clothing suitable for the weather and sturdy footwear (trainers/boots) as we will be outside for the whole session.
Parent/carer will need to drop off children at start time (ensuring they are checked in with our leaders) and collect them at the end of the event.
Consent forms and contact details should be completed by parent/guardian before children attend their first meeting.
