Senni Valley Circuit

What a day hiking! We make a circular route around the gorgeous Senni Valley.

Starting at Blaen Llia forestry car park we follow the Roman Road, Sarn Helen, downhill, past Maen Llia, a huge singular megalith, past the uber picturesque hanging valley before heading into the hamlet of Heal Senni.

Then it's up and an exploration of the abandoned Senni Quarry before making our ascent of Fan Nedd for a 360 degree ooverview of the days hike. Then it's downhill and back to the start point.

21km and 730m of ascent, so a tough day but one that has so much beauty and interest you'll agree it was all worth it :)

Walking boots, layers, waterproofs and a good packed lunch are essential.
