Moel Penderyn

Hello Marauders!

On 4th February please come join us as Mark leads us on a walk to the summit of Moel Penderyn

Starting in the free public car park behind Hirwaun Library (CF44 9SW), at 09:45am, we head out towards Penderyn along a former railway line. We then skirt waterfall country before heading up a steady, incline to the trig point, giving great views all around. We the make our way back down towards Penderyn, where we have the option of stopping for a pint in the Red Lion & then rejoining the route back to the start.

Walk is a level 7 on Maruaders scale, 7.5 miles, along tarmac, stone paths, moorland & fields. There is one steady incline & 1 stile to negotiate. See you there lads ⛰️☀️
