Pop-Rock coverband WHAX werd opgericht in augustus 2023 en ontstond uit een initiële samenwerking tussen Jean-Marie PEIRE (een hoofdrolspeler in 'Marktkramers' op VTM2, ex-drummer van o.m. Edje Ska & De Pilchards, e.a.), Erwin VAN WAELEGHEM (bassist) en Peter GEREELS (zanger/gitarist, beiden van o.a. Main Street en The Gems).

Een kleine greep uit de playlist: Snow Patrol, Frankie goes to Hollywood, Noorkaap/Monza, Prince, The Cure, Pink Floyd, Bruno Mars, Avicii, Simple Minds, David Bowie, Editors, Peter Gabriel, Mumford & Sons,...

Elk van deze bandleden heeft een jarenlange ervaring in diverse bands en weten als geen ander hoe ambiance te brengen tijdens optredens.
