Participants to meet at ELKS HALL FARMERS MARKET 72 Taren Drive, Clearwater, BC. to pick up details of their route and the stops they need to make 9-1030 am. The volunteer fire dept will greet you.
Each participant is given a scorecard, which will be filled in as they progress along the route. At each designated stop, the participants draw a card at random. The card drawn is recorded on each participant's scorecard, and the winner of the event is the participant who makes the best five-card poker hand at the end of the event. The winning hand is determined by standard poker hand rankings.
The stops, including the Elks lodge, are the farmers market on the DLCC, Evergreen acres, the Hop n Hog tap & smokehouse (lunch available by donation and will be ready around 1130), and finally the beautiful Helmcken Falls! The winner of the poker run will recieve a brand new Stihl fs38 weedwacker provided by Fleetwest enterprises, and a cruisin clearwater tshirt of their size choice.
The dice run.
At each designated stop, you will also be able to roll 2 dice, all 5 dice rolls will be added up to your final score to a maximum of 60 points. Dice winner will be determined by a random number to be generated after the run. The winner will recieve a $50 gc for the Gateway Grill.

Take your time and have fun. This is Not a race. Tour the town. There is NO prize for finishing first. Be safe and respectful to other vehicles and participants. Be careful of wildlife on the way up to the Helmcken falls. There is numerous places where the deer and bears like to hang out and you may also encounter tourist stopping in bad places to take pictures of said wildlife. So please be mindful of others. There is no cell service after the first 8 kms, and fuel once you leave town.
The registration desk is with the volunteer fire dept at the ELKS HALL FARMERS MARKET 72 TAREN DRIVE , Clearwater, BC. Registration begins at 9:00 am and will end at 10:30. it is free to play.
You must visit the 5 stops listed to get your cards and roll the dice.
The winning hand is determined by standard poker hand rankings. There are no wild cards. There are no “5 of a kind” hands. In the event that there is a tie, there will be a draw with highest card (using poker rules) wins. You must be present at the closing ceremony to win!
