Nawata:

Born in 1988 and raised in the idyllic Thurgau region, inspired by his musical parents, Manuel Stevanon discovered the drums at the age of 14. From then on, this instrument became his inspiration for rhythm and the release of energy and inspiration. He attended drum lessons for five years. This powerful instrument is an important "energy supplier" for him, and so he hammers away at the drums in his room.

In 2008, he heard and discovered the handpan at a private celebration. This innovative instrument touched him in a special and previously unknown way. Today, he reflects: "My creative streak seemed to reconnect and channeled my inspiration in new directions." The passion for blending rhythms and sounds in various hues and emotions is the essence of his work today. The family man living in Arbon has been pursuing his passion, the handpan, for more than 13 years.
