During this focused, small group retreat we will be exploring how movement, behaviour, perception, emotions, and thought patterns continuously shape and influence one another.
Rooted in the Fighting Monkey Practice, the work goes beyond learning techniques — it’s about developing practical tools that support meaningful and lasting change.
A special focus will be placed on cultivating body-musicality, enhancing the elasticity of the body’s tensegrity structure, and creating practice environments that support challenging yet playful learning.
We will also examine our physical communication patterns, which strongly influence the ways we relate to the world.
In our work participants always become active research partners, testing and applying key principles to their own challenges and creative processes.
Together, in a group of curious and committed practitioners, we will:
✅ Receive Feedback – Understand yourself better: how your body is structured, how you learn, and how you adapt.
✅ Acquire Practical Tools – Games, practices, and ideas to work on what is needed with enjoyment—without dependency on a teacher.
✅ Improve Predictions – Adjust your practice, behaviour, and thinking models to shape a more open and engaging future.
Key Areas of Study
Open Games – Keep playing to stay sharp, mobile, and engaged throughout life.
Rhythm & Coordination – Learn to move better rather than constantly fixing your body.
Creativity & Agency – Build your own practice—don’t rely on masters.
Action & Perception – Explore how we make sense of the world through movement.
Movement & Communication – Move and express yourself in ways that allow you to resonate and respond flexibly.
Who is it for?
We believe in the power of diverse learning environments.
The workshop is open to anyone willing to challenge their worldview, examine habits, and engage in open exploration — whether you’re an artist, athlete, coach, therapist, engineer, teacher, or simply a curious mover.
If you’re excited about play, discovery, and improving the way you move through life, this experience can offer valuable insights and long-lasting benefits.
