Zebulon, NC — January 24 — Wake and District will host a Burns Night celebration at Olde Raleigh Distillery on Saturday, January 24, bringing together music, heritage, and community in recognition of two significant anniversaries. The evening marks five years for Olde Raleigh Distillery and twenty years for Wake and District, with both milestones honored together through community and collaboration.
The gathering will follow an intentionally relaxed format, designed to encourage connection and conversation. Music from Wake and District will be heard throughout the evening from small ensembles and soloists, integrated organically into the setting rather than presented as a formal performance. Traditional Burns Night elements will be thoughtfully included, such as piping in the haggis and selected poetry honoring Robert Burns.
This event invites members of the community, supporters, and friends of both organizations to enjoy an informal evening celebrating shared history, craftsmanship, and Scottish tradition in a modern local setting.
Additional details and public announcements will follow across social media channels as the date approaches.
