Git Shorty @ The Barn

Legendary entertainer Git Shorty comes home following a performance at the 22nd annual Pittsburgh blues festival and shows in the western United States to play The Barn with his band, including a brass section. The 85-year-old shows no signs of aging, as he continues to energize audiences with his dazzling performances and veteran band of professionals. Often thought of as a blues man because of his connection with James Brown, Git Shorty plays music of many styles and eras, from Wilson Pickett and The Doobie Brothers to Prince and Keb Mo. Add Morgan Wallen and Bruno Mars, and you get an idea of the depth and breadth of Git Shorty's repertoire. Material from Shorty's self-titled release round out a set list of varied and dynamic music that engages the audience. Shorty always delivers a unique and memorable performance.
