Znatiželja u istraživanju čuda 'o(t)puštanja’, (release work) bit će vodič za jasne, specifične, a možda i energične plesove.'
Materijal će uključivati:
- svjesnost kroz opuštanje – gipkost i autonomiju; rad na volumenu prsnog koša,artikulaciji kralježnice, slobodi nogu, istraživanju pokreta ruku, osvještavanju centra
- istraživanje puta od svjesnog dodira do pokreta
- otvaranje, stvaranje, ulazak u, kretanje kroz i bivanje u prostoru
- ples s vještinama poput dezorijentacije, padanja, letenja, sigurnog slijetanja

‘In this workshop I will draw material from the Skinner Releasing Technique* and from the experience of teaching and performing improvisation, including Contact Improvisation for more than 25 years. Each session will begin with a fine tuning to the whole self-leading into practicing contact skills, then we will enter guided and/or open dancing to deepen and cultivate the experience. The curiosity of researching the wonder of the releasing work can be a guide for clear, specific and perhaps energetic dances.’
The material will include:
- awareness through releasing: suppleness and autonomy; the volume of the ribcage, articulating the spine, freeing the legs, exploring the arms; finding the center
- exploring attentive touch into moving
- opening, creating, entering, moving into and being in space
- dancing with skills such as disorientation, falling, moving into the air, landing with safety
The workshop is open for all levels.
* 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 is a somatic dance technique, developed by Joan Skinner, that utilizes image-guided floor work, partner graphics and movement studies to ease tension and promote an effortless kind of moving. The technique smoothly integrates technical growth with creative process.
** 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 is an evolving dance form, where two or more bodies move in physical contact while paying attention to sensations of touch and weight. The improvisational aspect of the form in conjunction with physical conditions such as gravity and centrifugal force, and the embodied knowledge of the anatomy of the human skeleton can expand the range of motion and creation. Attention to details and the commitment to a co-dependence on one or more partners can offer unique movement possibilities.
𝐄𝐬𝐳𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐚́𝐥 is a dancer, MSME/T, researcher, a certified Skinner Releasing Technique teacher, has been teaching somatic work, Contact Improvisation, composition, improvisation and performing over 30 years. In 2023 she co-founded SODA (Somatic Dialogues Academy) in Budapest, Hungary and directs its 500-hour Somatic Movement Educator training program. She works with Tánceánia, a mixed-ability dance Company, leading the practice, choreographing and performing with the Company. Her artistic work and teaching method are greatly influenced by artists like Eva Karczag, Mary Overlie, Yoshiko Chuma, Mark Tompkins, Keith Hennessy, Stephanie Skura, Martin Keogh, Nita Little, Nina Martin, Benoit Lachambre and Peter Pleyer. In 2020, she joined Cranky Bodies a/company to research collaborative performance-art making within an international frame and make the artistry of the Postmodern dance legacy visible. And as part of her doctoral studies, she researches the Hungarian legacy of Contact Improvisation.
