🎼🤖🎼 U četvrtak, 9. listopada u 20 sati, održat će se biozvučni koncert Glazba za surogat izvođača posvećen istraživanju zvuka i granica izvedbe. Dva dana kasnije, u subotu 11. listopada u 20 sati, isti ansambl nastupa ponovno, ovaj put s hrvatskim gitaristom Pavlom Jovanovićem, u performansu cellF, ujedno i prvom svjetskom neuronskom sintesajzeru i jedinstvenom „surogatu izvođaču“. Njegov „mozak“ čine žive neuronske mreže uzgojene iz Ben-Aryjevih stanica koje u stvarnom vremenu upravljaju modularnim sintesajzerima i ulaze u dijalog s ljudskim glazbenicima, stvarajući neponovljiva posthumana zvučna iskustva.
🎼🤖🎼 On Thursday, October 9 at 8 p.m., the biosound concert Music for a Surrogate Performer will take place, dedicated to the exploration of sound and the boundaries of performance. Two days later, on Saturday, October 11 at 8 p.m., the same ensemble will perform again, this time with Croatian guitarist Pavle Jovanović, in the performance cellF, also the world's first neural synthesizer and a unique "surrogate performer." Its "brain" consists of living neural networks grown from Ben-Ary cells that control modular synthesizers in real time and enter into dialogue with human musicians, creating unique posthuman sound experiences.
The performance at KONTEJNER has been realised within the framework of the EU project Future DiverCities, it is co-funded by CITS (Departments of Creative Industries, tourism and sports) Western Australia.
