PAIN MANAGEMENT is the focus of Auriculotherapy module 2.
In this module, you will gain a solid knowledge of the spine and nervous system representation in the ear. This will enable you to effectively and quickly treat different types of pain, including chronic, acute and overuse pain. The combination of knowledge from both modules 1 and 2 forms a solid foundation of knowledge that strengthens your ability as a practitioner.
In Module 2, you will also be introduced to posturology and learn how to use this knowledge to effectively treat pain throughout the body in a cause-based manner.
THIS IS WHAT WE COVER IN THE MODULE
1. Effective and durable pain management that targets the cause.
2. In-depth understanding of the spine's location in the ear. Treating the muscles and nerves in this zone to affect the whole body and relieve various physical pains.
3. Posturological tests as a response from the body, along with the auriculotherapy that offers the treatment. Posturology affects both physical and psychological pain relief.
4. Therapy obstacles: How scars and jaw tension perpetuate pain, create chronic pain and mental imbalance.
5. Point location and understanding.
6. Further work with Nogier pulse/VAS
7. Practice, drills and coaching each other to strengthen skills.

14 days before the course, you will have access to an 8-hour self-study via e-learning, in the same way as module 1. The flexibility lies in the fact that you decide when and where you study. You can watch videos and review the quizzes as needed and at your own pace.
The two days at the school focus on going through the material together and applying it in practice. The emphasis is on combining knowledge and practical skills.
RIKKE GODTHJÆLP
Rikke Godthjælp is the founder of the GMI Institute and serves as school director, educator and practitioner at the institution. Her expertise ranges widely as a trained classical acupuncturist, auriculotherapist (ear acupuncturist), auriculomedicine, chromotherapist (color therapist) and posturologist. She teaches in both Danish and English and runs GODTHJÆLP Institute by the Lakes and Forum centrally located in Copenhagen.
Dina Alminde
Dina Alminde is a trained Acupuncturist, Physiological Masseur and Auriculotherapist, Posturologist and Auriculomedicine practitioner.
On a daily basis, Dina Alminde treats in its own clinic in the heart of Thisted, in the Thy National Park, and teaches in GODTHJÆLP INSTITUTE.
Stéphane Maugendre MD
Dr. Stéphane Maugendre has been working with Auriculotherapy and Auriculomedicine since 2013 and teaching since 2017. Practices as a specialist doctor in Auriculotherapy and Auriculomedicine in a chronic pain department in Paris at the Rothschild Foundation pain center. Running his own medical practice in Normandy since 2005.
