Join us on Saturday, November 15 from 1–3pm at Whistling Duck Pond for our fall Community BioBlitz.
A BioBlitz is a hands-on event where neighbors work together to identify, using technology, as many plants, bugs, birds, and other creatures as possible in one area. With guidance from the UF/IFAS Extension Nassau County team, we’ll explore the diverse habitat around Whistling Duck Pond and record our findings.
To participate, please bring a smartphone or tablet with the free iNaturalist app downloaded and ready to use. You’ll snap photos, upload them, and help build a community record of local wildlife.
Everyone is welcome, and no experience is needed—just curiosity and a love of nature!
