Author Signing with Tanya McCoy

Tanya McCoy has been interested in the paranormal since she saw her first full body apparition in her own home at the young age of six. She started doing research on the paranormal around 2001 and joined a paranormal investigation team around 2008. She started her own paranormal investigation team, the Oklahoma Paranormal Association (OPA), in 2011. As the founder of OPA and president of Paranormal Times Entertainments LLC, she is always teaching others providing private investigations for public and private institutions. She has been featured on My Ghost Story, Paranormal 911 and Haunted Hospitals, which are features on the Syfy Channel and the Travel Channel, as well as many articles, pod casts and news casts. She enjoys doing background acting jobs and has done background work on some major motion pictures. She has authored and co-authored multiple books including Haunted Guthrie, Haunted Canadian County, Haunted El Reno Oklahoma, Haunted Shawnee Oklahoma, Haunted Oklahoma City and Haunted Route 66 Oklahoma. She is also a published children’s book author with her latest publication being an adapted version of the Haunted Oklahoma City book, Spooky America’s Haunted Oklahoma City, and her Spooky American’sHaunted Route 66 Oklahoma that will be released in May of 2025. Aside from investigating the paranormal, Tanya has been a pediatric nurse for the past twenty-eight years and works with special needs children. She is currently working on herBachelor’s degree in History. She is continuing to add to her book series which will focus on her two favorite topics, history and the paranormal. She is also currently writing a fiction mystery novel, several children’s books, a metaphysical collection, and a true crime book of historic significance.
