2025 Even More Spooktacular River Run!
Yuba-Sutter-Colusa United Way and Family SOUP are excited to announce the “Even More Spooktacular River Run” taking place on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
In its 13th year, this 5K and 10K run/walk is a family event, fun for all ages.
The run/walk will traverse the Feather River levees, beginning and ending at Gauche Aquatic Park in Yuba City.
In addition to supporting YSC United Way, half of the registration proceeds support Family SOUP, a non-profit organization supporting families of children with special needs in Yuba, Sutter, and Colusa Counties! Family SOUP is excited to co-host this joint event in place of their traditional Bistro in the Buttes fundraising event, continuing for a new generation the local tradition of celebrating the mission of Family SOUP.
Add to the Halloween themed festivities by wearing a costume! Prizes will be awarded in three different age categories!
Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. The 10k run starts at 9:00. The 5k run/walk gets underway at 9:30. The awards ceremony for the costume contest and 80 running awards starts at 10:25 a.m.
The registration fee includes chip timing and a t-shirt - guaranteed with registration by 10/17/25. AFTER 10/17 shirts availability and sizes depend on supply.
The registration fee will increase by $5 per person after 10/17/25.
Chip-timed participants are eligible for medals in 10 divisional categories for first, second and third places. All children, newborn through 5, receive a custom trick or treat bag courtesy of the Sutter County Children and Families Commission.
A continental breakfast will be provided after the run.
