Winter Break STEM

Location: YDL-Whittaker (Youth Programming Room)

Drop in Mondays and Fridays over the break to hone STEM skills through hands-on activities and play.

Dec 22: Cardboard Creations - Use our Chompsaws and MakeDo connectors to design and build what you want with large pieces of cardboard.

Dec 26: Robot Coding - Learn to code with Ozobots and VinciBots. Use colors and iPads with block based codes to tell the robots what to do.

Dec 29: Saving Songbirds - Learn about songbirds with special guests Martha the Mourning Dove and Clementine the Baltimore Oriole from The Bird Center of Michigan. Sponsored by Flight Path, a Spark of Science @ My Library campaign from HHMI Tangled Bank Studios and STAR Net.

Jan 2: Classic Kids Games - Learn to play marbles, dominoes, and more.
