The National Place-Based Education Conference

The National Place-Based Education Conference comes to Southeast Michigan this November 12-14. With immersion experiences throughout the region, 120+ concurrent sessions at Eastern Michigan University, a night of fellowship and live music at the Place-Based Celebration, and so much more, this conference exists to pour into educators, community-based partner organizations, school, university, and community leaders, scholars, students, and supporters of place-based teaching and learning.

So much more than a traditional conference, we are here to help you fill your cup through shared experiences, peer mentorship and networking, and an inspiring celebration of the power of our connections to the places we live, work, learn, and play in.
