Michael Dittman is a professor of English living and writing near Pittsburgh, surrounded by the palimpsest of the Appalachian Rust Belt. His most recent novel is Who Holds the Devil. He is also the author of Jack Kerouac: A Biography; Masterpieces of the Beat Generation; and Small Brutal Incidents.
Shei Sanchez writes from Southeast Ohio. Her poetry lives in many places, including Women of Appalachia Project's Women Speak, Light Enters the Grove, Orchards Poetry Journal, Hawai'i Pacific Review and Amplify, forthcoming from Sheila-Na-Gig. A Best of the Net Nominee, Shei found that herding her goats are primal moments for marrying verse with the world.
