📣 Event Description: Mahoning County Commissioners Meeting & Courthouse Rally

Mahoning County Courthouse – 120 Market Street, Youngstown, OH 44503
Join concerned residents, community advocates, and members of the Mahoning Valley Freedom Fighters as we attend the Mahoning County Commissioners Meeting to deliver critical testimony and raise awareness about urgent issues impacting our community, including:
- Conditions inside the Mahoning County Jail
- Experiences and treatment of incarcerated individuals
- Concerns regarding the county’s ongoing contract with ICE
- ICE and Homeland Security agencies have repeatedly engaged in illegal and immoral conduct — including civil rights violations, unlawful detention of legal residents and U.S. citizens, and the abuse of power through excessive force. Our community has a responsibility to demand transparency, oversight, and accountability from those who oversee our local systems.

- All community members are welcome to attend, observe, and speak.

Weekly Ongoing Effort
- This action is part of the County Commissioner Education Project, a continued effort to educate officials, uplift impacted voices, and hold our county leadership accountable.
- Commissioners meet every Thursday at 10:00 AM. Any updates or schedule changes will be emailed to all registered participants.
Outdoor Rally Details
- We will gather outside the courthouse at 9:30 AM, with a simultaneous rally beginning at 9:45 AM.
- All participants should remain on the sidewalks.
- Please bring your signs, friends, and community spirit as we stand together to advocate for our neighbors.
