Youngstown State University’s Dana School of Music is proud to present Ableton Educator’s Day, a unique professional development event taking place on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Bliss Hall.
Designed specifically for K–12 music educators and school administrators, this full-day experience will explore strategies for integrating electronic music and audio production into the modern classroom curriculum. A complimentary lunch will be provided by Ableton.
The event will feature three keynote speakers: Will Kuhn, President of TI:ME (Technology in Music Education) from Lebanon, Ohio; James Patrick, founder of Slam Academy in Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Christina Horn, performer, composer, and educator based in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Attendees are eligible to receive up to five TI:ME-sponsored professional development contact hours. Additionally, all registrants will receive a free Ableton Live Intro license to access and review the software before the event.
