York! Get to grips with Climate Science @ Patch

Understanding climate science might seem intimidating, but it's important we get to grips with it. The Climate Fresk turns climate science into a team game, where we work together to connect the causes, mechanisms and effects of the climate crisis, and what we can do about it. Join an interactive workshop experienced facilitator, Sophia Cheng, to look at climate science in more detail, learn together, challenge our assumptions and talk about the future.

The last part of the workshop will have a specific York focus and explore local actions and solutions. Depending on the group we can tailor this to have a more business or citizen focus.

The Climate Fresk turns climate science into a game that more than a million people have played worldwide. Climate Fresk is a France-based NGO, with the aim to make climate science more accessible using graphs and data from the UN's climate scientists. More than two million people have participated in this workshop worldwide. You will work as a team to find the cause & effect relationships between the 42 cards. The activity is open to all but is primarily aimed at adults.
