Drop Everything & Read — York City First Friday Edition
This October First Friday, let’s make the heart of York a reading room. We’re gathering in Continental Square in #downtownyorkpa at 5 p.m. for a community read-in.
✨ Bring your book (ideally The Wartime Book Club by @katethompsonauthor so we can read together!)
✨ Bring a chair or perch on a planter
✨ Bring a sign if you’d like (ideas: Make America Read Again, Books Are the Resistance, Stop Everything & Read)
And then… we’ll do the simplest, most radical act of all: sit down and read together.
Quietly. Publicly. Joyfully.
Come for 15 minutes, come for an hour — but come. Let’s show York that books bring us together.
