October First Friday in Royal Square

Come celebrate First Friday with us! We have so many fun things planned for you (see below), so come out and join us!
- FIREFLY NIGHT MARKET from 5-9pm! In addition to our many art galleries and merchants, you can also visit multiple vendor booths featuring art, hand-crafted items and more outside on the 100 block of King St, between Duke & Queen Streets!
- CREATIVES ON KING - Open 2-8PM with great new art with a fall flair. Nicole and Reagan will be attending and demonstrating at the Covered Bridge Festival so we will catch you for our new gallery show opening on Oct 10th.
- CASTA CIGARS - No information.
- GLASS TURTLE STUDIO - Open 12-9. Buy $30 or more get a free pair of earrings (from a specific group of earrings designed).
- HIVE artspace - Open 5-9pm. The Annual Spooky Art Show returns for our October exhibit! This chillingly fun celebration of Halloween showcases a thrilling variety of visual tricks and treats—from the creepy and macabre to the whimsically spooky. Featuring artwork & giftable creations by over 40 artists, plus a special guest appearance by Dark Angel!
- IN BETWEEN PAGES (The York Emporium) - Open until 8pm. Live music by "Creekside" from 6-8, plus "Buy One Get One at 50% Off" on all books!
- JOSH JOHNSON CREATIVE STUDIO - Closed for renovations.
- KING'S COURTYARD - Open 5-9pm. Meet Kara and Fred Young and see their expanded display of artwork! Fred will do a live glass work demonstration outside in front of the gallery from 5-7pm. We have members that present oddities artwork perfect for the season and plenty of artwork to represent every season!
- NOEL'S ROCK SHOP - Open 8-8pm. Stop by to see the bad*ss hand-carved biomechanical guitar by Kurt Windish of Built to Last Tattoo.
- ROAMING ROAST - Open 9-9pm! Specials: Cinnamon Swirl Toast topped with pumpkin spice butter and cinnamon sugar. Along with our classic Pumpkin 🎃 Spice Latte, we will offer some new fall favorites: Caramel Crisp Apple Latte, Spiced Brown Sugar Latte, and Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew!
- VENTURE - No information.
- ALLEYS - 5pm-12am. Happy Hour from 5-7. Late night DJ on Fridays. No cover charge.
- GRANFALLOONS TAVERN - First Friday Afterparty starts at 9pm with the audio-visual freak-out stylings of Aortic Valve! $5
- RSD MURAL PARK - 30+ larger than life murals all within a 1-block area! Download the free VisionSolutions AR app on your phone for an enhanced augmented-reality experience!
FOOD & BEVERAGES:
- LEVANT MEDITERRANEAN CUISINE - 11am-8pm. So delicious! Try the Mediterranean Platter for a taste of several items, and don't miss the baklava for dessert!
- COLLUSION TAP WORKS - Open noon-10pm. Great bar food + 24 beers on tap.
- GRANFALLOONS TAVERN - Open 12-10pm+. Friday Night Special - Half-Price Backside of the Food Menu! American bar fare, wings, burgers, steak.
- WORLD GRILLS - Open 11am-8pm. Asian-fusion. Vegetarian / vegan options available.
- THE YORKTOWNE HOTEL - Continental cuisine with a twist from 5-10pm. The Rooftop Lounge is open 4-11, so come on out to the district for the main event from 5-9, then end the night enjoying some stellar views and a nightcap!
WHERE: The Royal Square District is located in downtown York, PA, in the area surrounded by King, Queen, Duke, and Princess streets. Get to the intersection of King & Duke & you are there.

Free parking is available on weekdays after 5:00pm and all day on weekends at the following locations:

- Corner lot of E. Newton Ave and S. Duke Street
- E. King Street and S. Queen Street Lot (directly across from The Bond)
- Collusion Tap Works Customers: Corner lot of S. Howard Street and E. Newton Avenue (directly behind the Bond)
- King Street Parking Garage & Market Street Parking Garage (each just 1 block away)
