🌞 Moorditj Koolangahs – Birak School Holiday Program 🌞

Join us this January for a FREE vibrant and creative school holiday program celebrating Birak, the first summer in the Noongar seasonal calendar. Over two weeks, children will explore music, painting, culture, and creativity through fun, hands‑on workshops designed especially for 6–12-year-olds.
This program is a cultural initiative aimed at supporting local young people to learn about Ballardong Noongar culture, seasonal knowledge, and creative expression through the arts.

🎶 Morning Sessions – Music Workshops
10:00am – 12:00pm
Children will explore rhythm, sound, movement, and musical storytelling inspired by Birak themes such as wind, fire, and Country.
🎨 Afternoon Sessions – Painting Workshops
1:00pm – 3:00pm
Using acrylics, pencils, textas, crayons, and pastels, participants will create artworks inspired by Birak colours, animals, plants, and seasonal changes on Ballardong Boodja.
