Hands-on Darkroom Workshop (for beginner and advanced!)

A holistic dark room workshop that includes a two hour lecture, a class photowalk a hands-on development practice, + a same day art show!

About this Event

We're hosting a workshop to celebrate the Grotto's newest resource: A DARKROOM! A gift for our community of film lovers to perfect their craft, try something new, cut down on costs, and fall in love with photography again in new ways.

This FULL DAY EXPERIENCE will feature levels of technique, beginner and advanced (featuring experimental film techniques).

Each class includes:
a two hour lecture
a class photowalk
hands-on development practice
an art show the same night to feature the work you created THAT same day

We're putting a ton of work and resources into this event to make it impactful for *you.* These classes are so affordable and include a small roll of film—so they’re going to go quick!

2pm-4:30 -- Beginner Class Developing

4-6pm -- Art Show Install (both classes)

7-9pm -- Public Art Show Opening!
