Embroidery is a hobby that is both relaxing and inspiring. Join us in this beginners’ class to learn to create stunning designs with needle and thread. This class will teach you the foundational concepts, tools, and skills of embroidery in a fun, relaxed environment with an instructor who has been practicing embroidery for over 10 years.
In this class, you will learn:
--What tools you need and how to prepare them to embroider
--Different ways to transfer your designs to your fabric
--Several beginner-friendly stitches, including:
--Straight Stitch
--Running Stitch
--Back Stitch
--Seed Stitch
--Lazy Daisy Stitch
--Satin Stitch
--How to secure your work
The project we will make for this class is a page for a stitch sampler book that you can keep for reference for future projects.
