Whether you’re looking to raise poultry on a small scale or simply process older backyard birds, this hands-on workshop will teach you the basics of ethical and food-safe poultry processing. Conducted in a mobile processing unit, the workshop is designed specifically for backyard flocks and small-scale operations, giving you practical skills you can put to use right away.

Ticket includes: Attend as a participant working hands-on with the class, receiving handouts and lunch - $50 per person

Membership requirement: Current 4-H membership is not required for participation in this event, but you must preregister.
Custodial Care: Please note that this event and its coordinators do not assume custodial care of youth in attendance. Adults (parents, guardians, volunteers, coaches, or chaperones) must be present for the supervision of youth participants.
