Join us at Calico Ghost Town in Yermo, CA on Saturday and Sunday, September 27th and 28th for Calico Ghost Town's 59th Annual Calico Days event that recreates the life and times of miners during the late 1800s.
We perform both days on the Silver Bowl Stage! Set Times TBA!
This family-friendly event focuses on the spirit of the Old West and features an 1880s costume contest, reenactment skits, pie-eating contest, Miner’s Triathlon competition, Burro Run competition, Bucket Brigade contest, live musical performances, egg toss competition, gunfights and more.
This family-friendly event embraces the life and culture of the 1880s when Calico was a bustling silver mining town from 1881 through the late 1890s when Calico began to see a steady decline in population as silver lost its value and people fled the town.
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 4-11 and children under 3 are free. Camping and Cabin Rentals are available!

The Storytellers have cemented their place as a creative force in the Southern California roots music scene with their dynamic progressive bluegrass sound. The band draws from a deep well of traditional bluegrass, country blues, old-time, and folk music to create inspired improvisations and compelling vocal harmonies that resonate with audiences everywhere.
Their remarkable musical chemistry produces soulful harmonies, nuanced acoustic arrangements, soaring grooves, and substantive storytelling—all delivered with their signature "hippie bluegrass" vibe that transforms every performance into a memorable experience.
The Storytellers have performed on the stages of numerous prestigious bluegrass festivals, including the Huck Finn Jubilee, Calico Bluegrass Festival, Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, and Desert Bluegrass Festival. Their 2024 highlights include headlining the prestigious Prescott Bluegrass Festival and sharing the stage with bluegrass legend Peter Rowan at the Brookdale Bluegrass Festival. The band has been a regular fixture at June Lake Jam Fest and has performed at large county fairs throughout Southern California.
In 2022, The Storytellers held a year-long residency at Treasure Island Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, while continuing to establish themselves at other distinguished venues. Their groundbreaking achievements continued in 2023 when they became the first bluegrass-style band to perform on one of NAMM's premier stages.
The Storytellers are Scott Diehl (Guitar, Vocals), Lance Frantzich (Bass, Vocals), Tyler Emerson (Fiddle, Vocals), David Burns (Banjo, Vocals), and Steve Stelmach (Washboard, Percussion).
