"Stop Building! Take Care." LINE Armenian Architecture Biennial Prelaunch

Սիրով հրավիրում ենք «Լայն» հայկական ճարտարապետության բիենալեի առաջին` «Օդերում» թողարկման նախնաբացմանը՝ AHA collective-ի ցուցասրահի «Դադարեցրո՛ւ շինարարությունը։ Հոգատա՛ր եղիր» պատշգամբային ցուցադրության մեկնարկով, որը տեղի կունենա սեպտեմբերի 5-ին` ժամը 18:00-ին։

Ցուցադրությունը ծագում է ճարտարապետ և գիտնական Շառլոթ Մալթեր-Բարթեսի (RIOT, EPFL, Լոզան, Շվեյցարիա) ներկայացրած ինը պահանջներից, որոնք նա արտահայտում է իր հրատարակած վերջին գրքում` «A Moratorium on New Construction» (Sternberg Press, 2025)։ Արվեստագետ Սարգիս Անտոնյանի կողմից ձևավորած և Քեթլին Կաոյի ձեռագործ պատրաստած երկլեզու տեքստիլ մանիֆեստը կարձակվի մայրաքաղաքի սրտում գնտվող ցուցասրահից՝ պատշգամբը վերածելով հանրային քննարկման հարթակի։

Այս համագործակցային նախագիծը, որ իրագործվել է RIOT-ի (Research and Innovation On Architecture, Urban Design and Territory)՝ Շվեյցարական Դաշնային Տեխնոլոգիական Ինստիտուտի Ճարտարապետության ինստիտուտի և Երևանում գործող AHA collective համադրողական գրասենյակի միջև մշակվել է հատուկ «Լայն» հայկական ճարտարապետության բիենալեի համար։

We are happy to invite you to the pre-launch of the LINE Armenian Architecture Biennial’s first “Up in the Air” edition with the opening of AHA collective’s gallery balcony exhibition “Stop Building! Take Care.” on September 5th at 6pm.

Drawing from the nine demands made by architect and scholar Charlotte Malterre-Barthes (RIOT, EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland) in her latest publication “A Moratorium on New Construction” (Sternberg Press, 2025), a bilingual textile manifest designed by Armenian artist Sargis Antonian and handmade by Kathlyn Kao cascades into the heart of Yerevan, turning the balcony into a platform for public discourse.

This collaborative project between RIOT (Research and Innovation On Architecture, Urban Design and Territory) within the Institute of Architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and the curatorial practice AHA collective in Yerevan is developed for the LINE Armenian Architecture Biennial.
