🐾🌿 BLACK DAWG SPRING CLEAN UP DAY 🌿🐾

Spring is almost here, and that means it’s time to roll up our sleeves and give the farm some extra love 💛
We have BIG goals this year — and we can’t do it without our amazing community.
We’re planning a full day of cleaning, fixing, building, and improving the sanctuary — and you’ll get to hang out with the animals while you help make their home even better.
Whether you’re super handy or just willing to rake, sweep, and shovel — there’s a job for you!
✨ Projects include:
• Filling holes and cleaning goat pasture
• Deep cleaning stalls
• Building the new duck house
• Shoveling duck mats
• Leaf blowing & arena picking
• Chipping bird enclosures and placing netting
• Reinforcing goat deck
• Fixing donkey stalls
• Weeding & planting
• Cleaning gutters
• Cobweb removal
• Branch & stick cleanup
• Replacing wasp/bee traps
…and more!
🛠 We also have a few larger projects that require special skills. If you’re handy with tools, construction, or equipment — we’d LOVE your help.
🚜 Before cleanup day, we are hosting a smaller work day on Friday, April 4th focused specifically on concrete and excavation projects.
We are looking for:
• Cement donations
• Access to or help with a cement mixer
• Mini excavator access
• Experienced help with digging and concrete work
