We all carry a little "baggage" with us - whether it's the stuff we've collected, the memories we hold onto, or the feelings we can't quite let go of. This exhibition invites you to explore what baggage means to you. Is it heavy, light, funny, or bittersweet? Through your art, share the stories behind what you carry or what you've left behind, maybe how these moments shape who you are or just wrap your artwork around a great baggage pun. We encourage the silly and the absurd along with the serious.
Artists are also encouraged to think outside the suitcase - literally. Alongside traditional artworks, we welcome handmade, recycled, or upcycled bags crafted from any medium. Whether you stitch together new stories from fabric, reimagine old items into functional art or create bags from unconventional materials, these pieces add a unique layer to the exploration of "baggage".
