If you are impacted by dementia, Dementia Australia’s Brain Hubs can connect you to the information, education and support you need.

The free Brain Hub sessions are available to anyone who wants to learn about dementia, including local residents and health care providers.

Tuesday 2nd December - Yea Shire Hall – 27 High Street, Yea

Session 1 - Community Information Session

• 09:30 am - Doors open and morning tea
• 10:00 am - Worried about your memory? - Dementia Australia
• 11:00 am - "Planning Ahead" - Senior Rights Victoria
• 12:00 pm - Questions, refreshments and mingling

Wednesday 3rd December - Alexandra RSL - 44 Grant Street, Alexandra

• 1:00 pm - Doors open
• 1:30 pm - Worried about your memory? - Dementia Australia with guest speaker: Dr Anne Unkenstein
• 2:30 pm - Light refreshments
• 2:45 pm - Memory Wise - Dementia Australia with guest speaker: Dr Anne Unkenstein

Thursday 4th December

Session 1 - Mobile Health Van Brain Hub - Main Street Central Eildon, Eildon

• 10:30 am - 12:30 pm - Drop-ins/informal

Session 2 - Mobile Health Van Brain Hub - Corner of Aitken, Crescent and Kinglake Road, Kinglake

• 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm - Drop-ins/informal

Friday 5th December - Yea Saleyards - 1 Flat Lead Road, Yea

• 9 am - 12 pm - Drop-ins/informal in collaboration with Dementia Australia and:

  - Yea and District Memorial Hospital

Please note ticket registration will allow access to the days activities, you are welcome to attend one or all of the sessions above.

Suitable for: Members of the public who want to learn more about dementia, or are concerned that they or someone they know may have dementia.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

It is ideal if you can bring your ticket. However, if you have completed your registration we will have your details and forgetting your ticket won’t be a problem.
