The community of Tarago and surrounds, it is up to you if you want to see TSAI continue.
The Tarago Sporting Association has been running without a President since the AGM with Mark doing amazing work as VP - we have now found ourselves without a Treasurer. Without a Treasurer at a minimum the association is not sustainable and we will be operating outside of our constitution.
For people that don’t know - The Tarago Sporting Association on behalf of the community own the Tarago Rec area and carpark. We operate through fundraising events and grants to maintain along side our incredible volunteers and always look to upgrade this area for the communities use. We also like to see the community benefit from this incredible area as it is an open area to enjoy.
We have Little Athletics and Tarago Riding club who use the area on a regular basis plus a lot of interest from other groups to utilise the area for events.
Do you want the Tarago Sporting Association to continue as an organization?
Do you want the Rec area available to use for your and communities continued enjoyment?
If the answer was yes to either of these questions, please attend our meeting at the Tarago Town hall.
Please note: If no one steps up to be considered for these roles it will be left to the existing executive and members who attend to make the decision on the future of the Tarago Sporting Association and Rec area.
If we can not get the positions filled, we will have to close the rec area for all use until an appropriate solution is found.
