Kintsugi Workshop - with Emma Armstrong

WHAT YOU'LL BE MAKING
In this workshop, you will embrace the philosophy of Kintsugi—that breaks and repairs are part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise. You will learn to transform a broken piece of pottery into a unique work of art, highlighting its "scars" with beautiful golden lines.

❖ The Philosophy of Kintsugi: An introduction to the history and meaning behind this beautiful art form.
❖ Repair Techniques: Step-by-step guidance on how to safely mend broken pottery pieces.
❖ Golden Finish: Learn how to mix and apply the gold-dusted lacquer to create stunning, visible repairs.

WHAT TO BRING
⚱️ Please bring your own broken pot or vase to repair. Some pottery will also be supplied.
