CONVERGE is a monthly meeting of performance artists based in Norfolk and Suffolk, converging to discuss our practices and connect through our current and future work. It's organised by artists Poppy Jackson and Laurie Green.
CONVERGE will be a network through which to connect, cross-pollinate, discuss, and to inspire and support each other's work. There is the potential for collaboration and the creation of events and explorations across the region.

Structure:
There will be a couple of different sections for sharing at CONVERGE. In the first, we will each share a little bit about ourselves and our work. We'd love to see actions, videos, images, text... whatever conveys your work or the story you want to tell. If you shared at previous meeting we still want to hear about your work.
Perhaps there is some work you didn't show before, or maybe you can approach what you showed previously from a different angle.
In the second, we'll each talk more about what we're working on at the moment, or what we want to be working on in the future. What are you making right now? What desires do you have for your work? What are you dreaming of? Is there anything you need us to problem-solve together? Again, please do bring anything that you would like to show alongside. It doesn't have to be screen based either! Actions, movements, sketchbooks, words, and beyond are all welcome.
Technical details:
There will be screen, laptop, and bluetooth speaker set up.
- Please upload files (images, videos, sounds) to the CONVERGE DRIVE in advance of the gathering. Any contents can be deleted after the meeting if requested.
- Alternatively, you can share work that is already online, eg. website, social media, vimeo, etc.
- All physical documentation, including objects and actions, are extremely welcome as well.
