'Beyond Sight' - an exhibition of works by Oliver Jerrold

'Beyond Sight' is a solo exhibition by Oliver Jerrold, presenting a series of abstract landscape energy paintings representing unseen energies — like waves, vibrations, and forces that move through sound, memory, and nature.

Using layered colour fields and shifting forms to transform these invisible currents into visible pathways, constellations, and landscapes, Oliver offers visual propositions as to how they may shape both our inner and outer worlds.. The works suggest terrains that feel both familiar and otherworldly, alive with motion and resonance.

Visitors are invited to move through the space as explorers, tracing patterns of harmony and tension, stillness and movement. By bringing attention to the waves and energies that usually escape the eye, Beyond Sight transforms the gallery into a place of reflection, curiosity, and shared discovery.

The relationship between the images and potential approaches to representations of sound also draw connections to the YARMONICS Festival of Sound and New Music which is on from 19-21 September.

Oliver Jerrold is a studio member at PrimeYarc.
