All Around The Common

All Around the Common - Sunday, September 7, 1-4 PM: Join us for this annual tradition! Free admission to the organizations listed around the Yarmouth Port Common. On this day, drop-in to the Captain Bangs Hallet House Museum to see “behind-the-scenes” of the 2025 inventory project. Talk to the volunteers, closely observe the archival process, and learn how we care for objects in the museum's collections, including our vintage clothing! A small sample of vintage clothing items will be on display in the front rooms of the House. The museum is closed until summer of 2026 for inventory and renovations - so enjoy this rare "sneak peek" into the process and check on our progress!
