The Yankton Community Library will be hosting a special pool storytime with the 2025 Riverboat Days Captain and Belle. During our regular pool storytimes on Tuesday, July 29th and Thursday, July 31st at 10:30 am, Captain Barry and Belle Judi will be helping with reading, songs, and snacks.
This event is perfect for preschool-aged children (3-6 years old) and includes engaging stories, songs, games, and plenty of water fun.
Be sure to come ready for the water! Storytime will conclude with activities and playtime in the zero-entry pool. While library staff will be available until 11:30 am, families are welcome to stay and enjoy swimming for the rest of the day.
Admission to Pool Storytime is free for children aged 6 and under, along with one guardian, provided you show a Yankton Community Library Card. Additional family members or families without a library card can participate for only $1 per person or by using a Huether Family Aquatics Center membership card. Children 3 and under are always free.
